The International Al Jolson Society was founded in 1950 for the sole purpose of perpetuating the memory of Al Jolson and his music.

"Jolie" served as the society's honorary president for the first few months until his death in October of that year.

Membership in the Society provides many opportunities for those people around the world who share enthusiasm for "The World's Greatest Entertainer"

Members receive two Journals a year, each with 50+ pages containing,
